Brazil Night: Paulo Ramos
I had the privilege to shoot a live concert for the charismatic and captivating Brazilian singer and composer, Paulo Ramos, last Saturday, as part of the “Montreal High Lights Festival” in L’Astral Hall.
The group of musicians, singers and Samba dancers who accompanied Paulo, were as enchanting!I had to find my spot among the crowd and from time to time walk around to get different point of views.
Check out Paulo Ramos website at http://www.pauloramos.net… and here are some photos from the event:

Baby photo session: Melody
I’ve recently had a photoshoot with the tiniest and cutest client, Melody.
In the editing process, I tried a vintage style on some of the photos which I think worked out very well. Usually, when I apply this sort of non-neutral type of editing, I will still provide the client with the original color versions, just in case the edit gets dated after a while, something that every photographer needs to be aware of.
Here are some photos from the session…

Winter wedding with Sharon and Maurice
Winter weddings in Montreal are usually not as fun as the summer ones, especially when it’s fully indoors. But that wasn’t the case at all with the wedding of Sharon and Maurice!
After a short and intimate civil ceremony at the “Palais de Justice” in Old Montreal, we did the formals inside the same building. It was already a little too dark outside, that beside the low temperatures, so we went to an indoor location for the photo shoot. The reception was held at Il Gabbiano in LaSalle.I’ll let you enjoy some of the pictures…

Welcome to Wassphoto blog
Since almost everyone now has a blog, especially photographers, and because “technically” a blog has become a must for online visibility and exposure, I finally decided to have my own!
For now I’m still testing the blog and because it’s customized to fit my website design, some layout bugs may appear (hopefully not) for the first few posts. So please bear with me.
What I plan to post are mainly updates about my photography services, photoshoots and the weddings I do, and from time to time articles related to photography in general. I will try to keep it short and to the point.
Stay tuned!
